Penpal Now

Connecting a child in the U.S. with a child in India through sponsorship builds a Penpal relationship. Although life circumstances may be very different, children connect and form a bond through the exchange of letters, drawings and photos. Children at the Good Samaritan School love having a special friend and are greatly encouraged to know that a family in the U.S. cares.  Through sponsorship, children receive a free quality education, medical care and love from a caring staff.

FOTGS & Sadie

Friends of the Good Samaritans (FOTGS) is a registered 501c3 non-profit in the U.S. founded in 2004 to support and fund the Good Samaritan School (GSS) in New Delhi, India. FOTGS raises funds through sponsorship by connecting donors in the U.S. with a needy child at the school.
The character Sadie comes from the children’s book, Sadie in the Land of Dancing Colors, written by Amanda Evans. This delightful story allows children in the U.S. to have a glimpse of the Good Samaritan School and shows how children can make a positive difference for children who live in the slums of India. Lunchbox Love was developed to give U.S. kids a tangible way they can give and support the work of FOTGS.
