Certainly! We love it when children help us spread the word about these fun projects and want to participate with other groups.
Friends of the Good Samaritans (FOTGS) is a U.S.-registered 501(c)3 – a non-profit – founded in 2004 to support and fund the Good Samaritan School (GSS) in New Delhi, India. FOTGS’ sole mission is to raise funds for GSS by connecting U.S. donors with needy children at the school. Through the sponsorship program, children receive free quality education, medical care, and love from a caring staff. FOTGS birthed Sadie Shares as a way to speak more directly to U.S. children and help them feel connected to India’s children. Sadie in the Land of Dancing Colors, a children’s book one of our friends wrote about GSS Lunchbox Love, inspired us to find more creative ways to help our own children and others’ learn about our friends in India.
So glad you asked! 🙂 Go to www.fotgs.com and click sponsor a child. Together, you and your child can choose a child to sponsor.  The website gives step-by-step instructions for sponsorship. If you have any problems or questions, please contact Maggie at our home office at 877-453-6847 or melliott@fotgs.com.  After sponsoring, you will receive information about how to write to your sponsored student. Sponsorship is a great way for your child to develop a relationship with a child in India, and parents can continue the journey of developing in their children compassionate, caring hearts in their children for those in need.
