Sponsorship

For $40 a month, you can change the life of a child in need.

Sponsorship

Sadie Shares Sponsorship offers a unique, family-focused, kid-friendly opportunity. Through sponsorship, a student at the Good Samaritan School can connect with a family in the United States, building a bond of friendship that benefits children on both sides of the world.

Tuition

Your sponsorship dollars provide a child with a quality education, bringing hope for a brighter future. Education is usually the only means these children have of breaking the cycle of extreme poverty. We see that cycle being broken every year at the Good Samaritan School.

Uniforms

Indian schools require school uniforms. Your sponsorship dollars alleviate the cost of uniforms for students who couldn't otherwise attend school. Students are proud of their uniforms, and it is often the best clothing they own.

Medical Care

Our school health clinic employs a nurse to help students when they're sick, injured or have a chronic medical condition. When additional medical care is needed, our school provides assistance with doctor visits and hospitalizations.

Nutrition

Our school nurse weighs and measures each student. When students fall below the average height or weight, the Good Samaritan School provides a high protein, nutritious lunch, so students can grow up strong and healthy.

Steps to Sponsoring a Child

1

2

Stay in Touch

Children will write to their new friend using the child-friendly letter writing template.  By communicating with your sponsored child, children and their families will learn about who they want to become and help turn those dreams into a reality. Sponsored families are able to build a relationship with a child, and some even arrange to visit!

3

Become a Member of Sadie and Sunny's Club

Children ages 4-12 become part of Sadie and Sunny’s Club, a program designed to help children remain engaged and excited about being part of changing the life of a child who lives in extreme poverty.

In addition, 3 times a year your child will receive fun packets in the mail with additional ways to stay connected and continue learning about India and our school.

Absolutely, we want the whole family to be involved. In our welcome backpack and 3 mailings each year, we will include activities for all 3 of you children.

Yes, when you sponsor, you can sign your grandchildren up to be part of our FREE Sadie and Sunny’s Club. We will send you the same materials we send to parents with material you will find helpful to help your grandchildren connect to your sponsored student and learn about India and the GSS.
